Sifat dari Tata surya

SIFAT DAN KEADAAN PLANET DALAM TATA SURYA

1. Merkurius

Merkurius adalah planet terkecil dalam tata surya. Planet ini lebih kecil dari Bumi dan letaknya paling dekat dengan Matahari. Planet ini dapat sering muncul rendah di kaki langit sebelah barat setelah Matahari terbenam. Kadang-kadang juga muncul di kaki langit sebelah timur menjelang Matahari terbit.

Bentuk Merkurius kelihatan selalu berubah-ubah. Kadang-kadang kelihatan seperti bulan penuh, kadang-kadang seperti bulan setengah, dan kadang-kadang seperti bulan sabit. Hal demikian terjadi karena Merkurius selalu beredar mengelilingi Matahari. Pada waktu berada di belakang Matahari, seluruh permukaannya terkena sinar Matahari. Dari Bumi, Merkurius kelihatan seperti bulan penuh. Setelah beredar lagi, Merkurius kelihatan seperti bulan setengah, lalu seperti bulan sabit. Pada saat Merkurius berada di antara Bumi dan Matahari, bagian permukaannya yang menghadap Bumi tidak mendapat cahaya. Akibatnya, selama waktu itu Merkurius tidak kelihatan oleh kita.

Diameter Merkurius lebih kurang 4.878 km dan jarak rata-ratanya dari Matahari adalah 57,9 juta km. Karena letaknya paling dekat dengan Matahari, maka planet inilah yang paling banyak mendapatkan cahaya atau panas Matahari.

Akibatnya, temperatur permukaannya di siang hari dapat mencapai 430° C, dan pada malam hari sangat dingin, yaitu -170° C.

Merkurius bergerak mengelilingi Matahari dengan gerakan yang sangat cepat. Sekali putaran mengelilingi Matahari, Merkurius memerlukan waktu 88 hari di Bumi. Jadi, satu tahun di planet Merkurius hanyalah 88 hari di Bumi. Sementara itu, periode rotasinya sangat lama, yaitu 59 hari. Bandingkan dengn rotasi Bumi yang hanya satu hari.

Atmosfer Merkurius terdiri dari uap natrium dan kalium dan sangat tipis, sehingga kadang-kadang planet ini dianggap tidak memiliki atmofer.

2. Venus

Planet ini selalu tampak bercahaya terang. Planet ini paling dekat dengan Bumi. Ukuran planet ini hampir sama dengan Bumi. Venus kadang-kadang terlihat di sebelah timur sebelum Matahari terbit sehingga sering disebut Bintang Timur atau Bintang Pagi. Kadang-kadang Venus juga terlihat di sebelah barat sebelum Matahari terbenam, sehingga dinamakan Bintang Senja Bintang Barat, atau Bintang Malam. Ada lagi yang menyebutnya Bintang Kejora.

Jarak rata-rata antara Venus dan Matahari adalah 108,2 juta km. Diameter Venus kira-kira 12.100 km. Ukuran ini tidak jauh berbeda dengan diameter Bumi. Demikian juga massa venus dan Bumi tidak jauh berbeda. Akibatnya, gravitasi di Venus juga tidak jauh berbeda dengan gravitsi Bumi.

Sekali beredar mengelilingi Matahari, Venus memerlukan waktu 224,7 (dibulatkan menjadi 225) hari di Bumi. Jadi, satu tahun bagi Venus adalah 225 hari di Bumi. Sementara itu, kala rotasi planet Venus adalah 243 hari. Di sini terlihat bahwa planet ini lebih cepat mengitari Matahari dari pada berputar pada sumbunya. Hal aneh dari planet ini adalah arah rotasinya yang berlawanan dengan planet lain, yaitu dari timur ke barat.

Planet Venus selalu ditutupi awan padat. Temperatur permukaannya sangat tinggi (480° C) sehingga tidak mungkin terdapat air dalam wujud cair. Tekanan atmosfernya (terdiri dari karbon dioksida dan nitrogen) juga sangat tinggi, yaitu 90 kali tekanan atmosfer Bumi. Hal-hal yang demikian tidak memungkunkan adanya kehidupan di planet tersebut. Seperti Merkurius, planet ini juga tidak mempunyai satelit.

3. Bumi

Bumi merupkan satu-satunya planet di tata surya yang dihuni makhluk hidup. Bumi merupakan planet ketiga terdekat dari Matahari. Bumi mempunya atmosfer yang tersusun dari nitrogen (N2) = 78%, oksigen (O2) = 21%, dan sisanya 1% terdiri dari argon, karbon dioksida, ozon, dan gas-gas lain. Atmosfer melindungi kita dari sinar Matahari dan juga benda-benda langit yang tertarik oleh Bumi. Diameter Bumi kita kurang lebih 12.756 km dan kira-kira dua pertiga dari permukaan Bumi ditutupi oleh air.

Bumi berotasi pada porosnya sekali dalam waktu 24 jam. Selain Bumi berputar pada porosnya (rotasi), Bumi juga berputar mengelilingi Matahari, yang memerlukan waktu selama 365 ¼ hari atau satu tahun untuk satu kali putaran.

Bumi juga memiliki gaya tarik (gravitasi). Gaya inilah yang menyebabkan kita tetap melekat di atasnya dan tidak akan terlempar.

Bumi memiliki sebuah satelit, yaitu Bulan. Bulan selalu mengelilingi Bumi dalam peredarannya mengitari Matahari.

4. Mars

Planet Mars juga disebut Planet Merah. Disebut Planet Merah karena jika dilihat langsung dengan mata atau teropong tamak berwarna kemerah-merahan. Mars mempunyai saat-aat bersinar terang dan bersinar lemah. Pada saat terang kita mudah menemukan planet Mars di langit, yaitu saat Bumi berada di antara Mars dan Matahari, tetapi bukan segaris. Pada saat bersinar lemah, Mars berada paling jauh dari Bumi dan tampak hanya seperti planet merah.

Pada permukaan Mars terdapat kawah-kawah dengan diameter mencapai 200 km. Pada kawah-kawah terebut tampak ada gejala erosi akibat adanya udara yang tipis. Kawah tersebut dari Bumi tampak seperti bercak-bercak hitam.

Temperatur rata-rata permukaan Mars kira-kira -18°C. Pada siang hari panas temperatur di Mars mencapai 50°C sampai 60°C. Pada malam hari yang sangat dingin suhunya dapat mencapai 100°C di bawah nol.

Mars mempunyai garis tengah (diameter) 6.786 km. Mars juga berputar pada porosnya seperti Bumi. Sekali Mars berputar pada porosnya membutuhkan waktu 24,6 jam dan sekali mengelilingi Matahari membutuhkan waktu 687 hari. Gaya tarik Mars lebih kecil dari Gaya tarik Bumi. Jarak rata-rata Mars dengan Matahari adalah 249,1 juta km.

Atmosfer Mars tipis, tersusun dari karbon dioksida dan nitrogen (samam dengan Venus), dan tekanannnya sangat rendah yaitu 0,005 kali tekanan di permukaan Bumi. Mars mempunyai 2 satelit, yaitu Phobos dan Deimos.

5. Yupiter

Yupiter adalah planet kelima terdekat ke Matahari. Menurut orang Romawi kuno, Yupiter adalah raja langit. Nama tersebut memang cocok karena Yupiter merupakan planet terbesar dalam tata surya. Massanya lebih kurang 300 kali massa Bumi, sehingga Yupiter disebut juga “Tubuh Raksasa”. Planet ini kelihatan sangat cerah karena hampir 70% cahaya Matahari yang diterimanya dipantulkan kembali. Planet ini biasanya berwarna merah kecoklatan.

Diameter planet ini 142.984 km atau sekitar 11 kali diameter Bum kita. Jarak planet Yupiter ke Matahari adalah 778 juta km. Gravitasi planet ini juga lebih besar dari gravitasi Bumi. Kala revolusi planet ini lebih kurang 11,9 tahun dan kala rotasinya 9 jam 55 menit.

Atmosfer Yupiter terutama terdiri dari hidrogen dan helium. Atmosfernya dapat mencapai ketebalan 1.000 km dann tidak ada batas yang jelas antara atmosfer dan permukaan planet. Jadi, permukaan planet dan atmosfernya kelihatan menyatu dan menyerupai bola gas. Sementara itu gas oksigen dan nitrogen sangat kurang sehingga tidak memungkinkan adanya kehidupan.

Planet ini memiliki 16 satelit dan yang paling besar antara lain lo, Europa, Ganymeda, dan Callisto. Yupiter juga memiliki berjuta-juta satelit kecil sehingga membentuk sistim cincin yang tipis dan kelihatan transparan.

6. Saturnus

Saturnus termasuk planet yang besar dan merupakan planet terindah untuk dipandang. Keindahan tersebut karena adanya cincin-cincin yang melingkarinya yang terdiri dari bogkahan es atau batu kerikil yang dilapisi es. Planet ini tampak berwarna kekuning-kuningan. Diameter planet ini 120.536 km, dan jaraknya dari Matahari sejauh 1.426 juta km. Kala revolusinya adalah 29,5 tahun dan kala rotasinya lebih kurang 10,7 jam.

Atmosfer Saturnus terdiri dari hidrogen dan helium. Selain itu ada juga sejumlah kecil gas metana, uap air, dan gas amoniak. Saturnus memiliki palin sekit 18 satelit dan satu diantaranya yang paling besar adalah Titan dengan diameter 5.120 km.

7. Uranus

Planet Uranus ditemukan oleh Sir Wilhelm Herschell pada tahun 1781 di Inggris. Planet ini memiliki jarak rata-rata dari Matahari lebih kurang 2.869 juta km. Planet ini diselubungi oleh awan tebal sehingga sulit di selidiki permukaannya. Masa peredaran mengelilingi Matahari (kala revolusi) sama dengan 84 tahun dan kala rotasinya 17 jam, dengan arah rotasi sama seperti Venus, yaitu dari timur ke barat. Jadi, Matahari terbit di barat dan terbenam di timur. Diameternya mencapai 51.118 km. Planet ini tampak berwarna hijau kebiru-biruan. Atmosfer planet ini terdiri dari hidrogen, helium, dan metana. Karena begitu jauh dari Matahari atmosfer planet ini sangat dingin, kira-kira -190°C.

Uranus juga mumpunyai satelit, yang jumlahnya 15 buah. Namun, yang paling besar ada 5 satelit, yaitu Miranda, Ariel, Umbriel, Titania, dan Oberon.

8. Neptunus

Planet ini lebih besar dari pada Bumi, tetapi tidak dapat dilihat tanpa alat bantu karena letaknya jauh. Neptunus sering disebut “kembaran” dari Uranus dan sering juga disebut planet Pembuat Ulah karena sering beredar dengan meninggalkan garis edarnya.

Keberadaan planet ini diramalkan oleh John Loweh Adams dari Inggris yang bekerja sama dengan Jean Joseph Le Verrier dari Perancis pada tahun 1846. Tak lama setelah diramalkan, pada tahun yang sama planet tersebut berhasil diamati oleh Johan Lalle di Berlin.

Diameter Neptunus hampir sama dengan Uranus 49.528 km. Karena jaraknya lebih jauh dari Matahari, yaitu lebih kurang 4.490 juta km jika dibandingka dengan jarak Uranus ke Matahari, yaitu 2.869 km, planet ini kelihatan redup. Namun demikian, planet ini berwarna cerah kebiru-biruan. Atmosfernya terdiri dari hidrogen, helium, dan metana. Temperatur permukaan Neptunus sekitar -210°C. Jaraknya yang sangat jauh mengakibatkan waktu revolusinya menjadi sangat lama, yaitu 165 tahun, sedangkan kala rotasinya hanya 16 jam. Planet ini memiliki 8 satelit, dan tiga yang terbesar yaitu Triton, Nereid, dan Proteus.

HELLAAAAAW GUYS! 

oke, i just want to share about NATIONAL EXAM. hahaha. i know, you hate the national exam :-] but if you want to be SMA's student, You have to work hard in the national exams. fufufu. its too much hard for 9 grade. 

Different with SEKOLAH DASAR/SD. Kalau SD mau ujian, yaaa woles aja. Gabanyak tekanan. Santai, tapi masih bisa dipercaya. laaah, kalau SMP jangankan santai, istirahat aja tuh rasanya deg degan.

Awalnya :
